The president and foreman Mr. Rodriguez, not only familiar with roofing but also carpentry, windows and painting, is a very conscientious craftsman caring about every detail. He was ready to start the project a couple of days after the start order with a right crew and materials. His crew members were highly diligent, although with skill levels all different. The initial estimate of the cost was a bit too low, probably to be competitive, ending up with extensive extras, so that it seems better for some people to get the "not-to-exceed" price upfront. I will definitely retain him for my next project."

They did a wonderful job and even went above and beyond the scope of the original project when it became apparent that there would need to be additional work performed (namely, a window needed to be removed so that a graded roof could be installed). Using them to do the rood and replace the window with drywall made it so much easier than getting a whole other contractor in here to do the additional work. They were courteous and respectful, cleaned up after everything, and were here when they said that they would be. Jose was highly communicative and willing to explain the details of roofing. He also, had ready explanations for additional suggestions. My job came in at about 15% above the quoted cost due to unknowns discovered along the way. When each of these unknowns was encountered, Jose provided me with sufficient information to make an informed decision. Jose and his men were ultra fast and ultra clean. Jose also remained pleasant as I handed him a list of minor areas to resolve during the final walk-through. He was even nice enough to construct a special “box” on my roof for the Directtv Company to attach their dish to, preventing them from drilling holes into my new roof. Before contracting with Brendan Roofing, I solicited several quotes and while Jose was not the cheapest of these, I feel comfortable that a solidly professional job was done.

Jose repaired leaks in our roof from screws of a solar array attaching it to the roof. It was a difficult repair because the array was only 3 inches away from the roof, parallel to our flat roof. He arranged for an electrician to help and between the two of them, they devised not only a repair to the leaky roof, but a new way to attach the array without penetrating the roof with screws. They wound up raising the array off the roof 2-3 feet, set the panels at the proper angle, and created a sturdy structure to support the panels. They worked very efficiently, conscientiously, and intelligently in getting this difficult job done as promised

Jose and his crew spent 5 hours over two days thoroughly examining my entire roof, inside the attic and outside. He took my spouse to the roof and allowed us to photograph every trouble spot. He watertested the roof for a reasonable fee and located the source of the leak that had evaded everyone for two years, including the original roofing contractor. He then fixed the leak and every other trouble spot in one day, working with me to do it all at a price that was affordable for me. I've found my roofer for life, and I've already referred others to Brendan Roofing

Mr. Rodriguez did the work agreed to, within my time limit, and for the price agreed to. He agreed to my request that I would pay after he and I inspected the completed job together. His honesty was demonstrated when he reported to me his discovery that the man he had sent to do the job did not complete it exactly as instructed. He then completed the job himself. Mr. Rodriguez was easier to contact than two other roofers I tried to reach. Each time I phoned him I reached him directly at his cell phone number. The other two returned calls, but a day or two after I left messages. Mr. Rodriguez was polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. He took time to answer questions and explain. He gave three references immediately when I asked for them. I was able to reach two of the three (the third was not available due to a death in the family), and they gave Mr. Rodriguez good recommendations.
